Ted Morris is a creative writer, a retired journalist and broadcaster, and an outdoorsman. Much of his pleasures comes from canoeing, sailing, swimming and flying. He has visited cathedrals and chapels of Europe, shrines of India, Nepal, and Japan, and sees a piece of The Almighty in every individual. Ted studied humanities at McMaster, Scottish Country dancing and Celtic culture at the Haliburton School of the Arts, and was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2002. I’m a Queens Graduate (92) with my own law practice and I teach part time at Humber College.I would consider it a privilege to perform your spiritual, traditional or same gender wedding ceremony. I reside in Etobicoke but serve a large part of the GTA including downtown. I love meeting and interacting with new people as well as advocating for people who cannot advocate for themselves. In my younger days I also completed several half-marathons, duathlons and triathlons. I hold out hope that I will one day finish a full marathon and maybe an Ironman Triathlon! Besides travelling, I enjoy experimenting with vegetarian cooking, and organizing and participating in activities with family and friends, including my 9 godchildren and 15 nieces and nephews.

My wife and I are long-time residents of Mississauga, preferring to settle there after our University years. My spiritual journey began while travelling in Southern California where I started to meditate and practice yoga. This led me to study Comparative Religions at York University and California State University, Fullerton, CA. I then completed my Master’s Degree in Hindu Religious History, with a minor in Christian Studies at McMaster University in Hamilton. Luckily, my background gives me a unique perspective into the stresses of your day. My public speaking skills along with my years of meditative teachings will be at your disposal. Shirley spends the majority of her leisure time as an artist, and also enjoys reading, creative writing, cooking, and travel.
